Risk Disclosure
The main risks of trading and launching tokens on Manna, including total loss, creator behavior, coin rules, smart contracts, bridges, one-tap signing, automation and regulation. Read this before you use Manna.
This Risk Disclosure is part of the Terms of Service. It describes the main risks of using Manna ("Manna", "we", "us"), but it cannot list every risk. New risks appear all the time. Read it carefully and only use Manna if you understand and accept these risks.
1. Market risk and volatility#
Token prices, and especially the prices of new coins and memecoins, are extremely volatile. A price can rise or fall by 90% or more within minutes. Charts, market caps and PnL can change faster than the Service can update them. Past performance, including leaderboards, calls, PnL and copy-trading results, does not predict future results.
2. Total loss and no intrinsic value#
Memecoins and most community coins have no intrinsic value, no cash flows, no issuer obligations and no backing. Their price depends only on what the next buyer is willing to pay. Demand can disappear completely. You should assume that any coin you buy may become worthless.
3. Creator and insider behavior#
Anyone can launch a coin on Manna. Manna does not vet, approve or endorse coins or creators. Creators and early holders can act against other holders, for example:
- Selling ("rug pulls"). Creators, team wallets and early buyers can sell large amounts at any time, collapsing the price.
- Dev buys and team wallets. A creator can buy at launch and list team wallets. Team wallets can be exempt from the sniper shield and may hold a large share of supply.
- Creator fees. A creator can set a creator fee of up to 10% on top of Manna's fee, charged on every trade of their coin. High fees make it harder to profit.
- Misleading promotion. Names, images, descriptions, links, posts and calls may be false, exaggerated or impersonating real people or brands.
- Abandonment. Creators can stop supporting a coin at any time.
Information about locks, team wallets or settings reduces some risks, but does not remove them. See Dev buy and locks.
4. Liquidity, price impact and slippage#
New coins often have very little liquidity. A modest trade can move the price significantly (price impact). Between the moment you see a quote and the moment your transaction is processed, the price can move (slippage). If the price moves beyond your slippage setting, your transaction fails; if your slippage is high, you may get a much worse price than shown. Manna warns you when price impact is high and blocks some trades, but you may still receive far less than you expect, and you may be unable to sell a meaningful amount without crashing the price. See Slippage and price impact.
5. Sniper shield fees#
Creators can switch on a sniper shield. During the first seconds after launch, buys by anyone who is not on the creator's team pay a very high fee: a flat fee the creator picks (90%, 95%, 99%) or a fee fading from 99% (coins from Manna's first EVM launch contracts: a fee starting at 99% and halving quickly). If you buy during the shield, most of what you pay can go to fees. Automation, bots and copy trading can buy during a shield. See Sniper shield.
6. Coin rules that restrict transfers#
Coins can carry rules that limit how they can be bought, sold or moved, such as a maximum wallet size, market hours, vesting, sell limits or an allowlist. Rules are enforced by smart contracts and programs. A rule can stop you from buying, selling or transferring a coin, at a time when you want to. Check a coin's rules before you buy. On Solana, rules run in Manna's transfer-hook program, which switches on once it is deployed to Solana mainnet; until then Solana launches go out without rules. See Rules.
7. Bonding curves and graduation#
Manna coins start on a bonding curve, where the price is set by a formula and moves with every buy and sell. When a coin reaches its graduation target, its liquidity moves to a decentralized exchange pool. Graduation is automated and can be delayed, fail and need retrying, or happen at a different moment than you expect. On Solana, Manna takes a graduation fee of 10% of the quote raised. After graduation the coin trades under the rules and risks of the pool and its venue. A coin may never graduate. See Curves and graduation.
8. Smart contract and program risk#
Manna's launchpad, trading, locks and rules run on smart contracts on Robinhood Chain and other EVM chains, and on programs on Solana, including Manna's own transfer-hook program. Manna's contracts and programs have not been externally audited. They have been reviewed internally and tested, but they may contain bugs or vulnerabilities that could cause loss of funds, frozen tokens, incorrect fees or failed graduations. Many of them cannot be changed once deployed. Contract addresses are listed at Contracts.
9. Third-party protocol and service risk#
Manna relies on third parties that it does not control, including:
- Venues and routers: Meteora, Raydium, pump.fun, Jupiter, KyberSwap and Uniswap;
- Bridging: Relay;
- Wallets, keys and signing: Privy;
- Blockchain access: Helius, Alchemy, Robinhood Chain RPC and public RPC providers;
- Market data: DexScreener, GeckoTerminal, CoinGecko and Coinbase;
- Messaging and AI: Telegram and OpenRouter.
Any of them can fail, be hacked, change their terms or fees, censor transactions, or shut down. Their failures can cause your trades, launches or withdrawals to fail, or cause loss of funds. Manna is not responsible for third-party services.
10. Bridge and cross-chain risk#
Bridges and cross-chain routes, including automatic cash routing inside a trade, carry extra risk. A bridge can be delayed, fail, be exploited, or deliver funds later than expected. A failed route may leave funds on an intermediate chain or in a different token, which you then need to move yourself. Sending funds to the wrong chain or a wrong address usually cannot be undone. See Bridge.
11. Keys, custody and one-tap signing#
- Your keys. Embedded wallets are created by Privy and their keys are held in Privy's infrastructure. If Privy fails or is compromised, or if someone gains access to your sign-in method (your X, Google, Telegram or email account, for example), they may be able to control your wallet. If you export your keys and someone else obtains them, your funds can be stolen.
- One-tap signing. When you switch on one-tap trading or use the Telegram bot, Manna's signing key is added as an additional signer on your embedded wallets so Manna's servers can sign the trades and transfers you request. The signer cannot take ownership of your wallet, but a compromise of Manna's servers or a bug in Manna's systems could lead to transactions you did not intend. On mannas.fun you can remove the signer at any time from your account menu (One-tap trading, Turn off). For the Telegram bot's wallets there is no switch yet; to end it there, export your keys and move your funds, or contact support. See One-tap trading and cash.
- Telegram. Anyone with access to your Telegram account can use your bot wallets.
- Lost access. If you lose access to your sign-in method and have not exported your keys, you may lose access to your funds.
12. Automation risk#
Limit orders, take profit and stop loss, recurring buys (DCA), alerts and copy trading are best effort. They depend on price feeds, Manna's servers, RPC providers and network conditions. They can:
- fill late or at a price well past your trigger, especially in fast markets;
- fail repeatedly and be stopped, or fail without you noticing;
- execute during a sniper shield or at high price impact; or
- copy a trader into a coin that then collapses. Copy trading copies losses as well as gains, and the trader you copy owes you nothing.
Automated payouts (creator fees on shared routes, holder payouts, burns, jackpots and airdrops) are made on a schedule by Manna's keeper. Payouts are not guaranteed, may be delayed or fail, and Manna does not spend network fees on payouts under $1, so small amounts wait until they build up. Cashback and referral rewards build up until you claim them, and claiming may need a minimum amount. See Orders and Copy trading.
13. Price data, oracles and display errors#
Prices, market caps, PnL, holdings, leaderboards and charts come from blockchains and third-party data providers. They can be wrong, delayed, manipulated or missing. Market-cap based coin rules and automation can act on incorrect data. Do not rely on any single figure shown in the Service.
14. Network risk#
Blockchains can be congested, halted, forked, attacked or reorganized. Transactions can fail, be delayed, be front-run by bots, or confirm at a different price. Failed transactions may still cost a network fee. Network fees can spike without warning.
15. Tokenized stocks, pre-IPO tokens and stablecoins#
Some coins on Robinhood Chain and elsewhere use tokenized stocks, pre-IPO tokens or other tokenized assets as their pair asset (the asset you pay with). These tokens:
- are not the underlying shares, and do not give you shareholder rights, unless their issuer says so in its own terms;
- depend on their issuer, its custody arrangements and its solvency (issuer risk);
- may follow market hours, be paused, or have transfer restrictions; and
- may be unavailable to residents of some countries.
Stablecoins (such as USDC or USDG) can lose their peg, be frozen by their issuer, or be blocked for certain addresses.
16. Rewards, points, AI credits and $MANNA#
Cashback, referral rewards, holder payouts, Season points, passes, prizes and AI credits are promotional and can change or end. They have no guaranteed value. Points are not a token and promise nothing. Points can be adjusted or removed for wash trading or abuse. AI credits cannot be exchanged for money. A $MANNA token does not exist; reserves set aside for it are held by Manna, and $MANNA may never launch. See Rewards.
17. Social content, calls and leaderboards#
Posts, theses, calls, leaderboards, clans and PnL are created by users and automated rankings. They are not advice, may be wrong or misleading, and may be part of coordinated promotion. Top-ranked traders can lose money too. Manna AI output can be inaccurate. See the Disclaimer.
18. Phishing, scams and impersonation#
Scammers create fake websites, apps, bots, support accounts and coins that impersonate Manna or well-known brands. Manna will never ask for your private key, seed phrase or sign-in code. The official website is mannas.fun and the official Telegram bot is the one linked from mannas.fun. Always check addresses before you send or trade.
19. Regulatory and legal risk#
Laws about tokens, launchpads, trading and digital assets differ by country and change often. New laws or enforcement could restrict or end your ability to use Manna, affect the value or transferability of tokens, or make some activity illegal where you are. Manna may need to restrict features or regions with little notice. Sanctions apply: you must not use Manna if you are a sanctioned person or in a sanctioned region, and tokens or addresses linked to sanctioned parties can be frozen or blocked by third parties.
20. Tax#
Trades, swaps, Rewards, creator fees and other receipts can be taxable. Tax rules differ by country and can be complex. You are solely responsible for your taxes. Manna's PnL figures are not tax records.
21. Your acknowledgment#
By using Manna you confirm that you understand these risks, that you have the knowledge to evaluate your transactions, that you make your own decisions, and that Manna is not responsible for your losses except as stated in the Terms of Service.
