Calls and theses

What a call is on Manna, what gets recorded when you post one, the live stats on every thesis card, and exactly how Top callers ranks people, with a worked example.

Updated November 3, 2026

On Manna, a call is a thesis with receipts. When you post about a coin from its page, Manna records the coin's price and market cap at that moment and the bag you held. From then on, your post shows how far the coin has moved since your call and whether you still hold it, for everyone to see. Good callers rise on the Top callers board; nobody can delete a bad call's numbers by editing it later. This page explains what counts as a call, what the thesis card shows and how the ranking works.

What a call is#

A call is a top-level post with a coin attached. In practice:

PostIs it a call?
A post from a coin's page (its thread), a token page on the trading screen, or your position sheetYes. These composers attach the coin.
A post from the main feed composer (Drop a thesis)No. The feed composer doesn't attach a coin, even if you type $TICKER.
A reply, even under a callNo.
A quote (repost with your take)No.
A plain repostNo.

Calls work for any token on any of Manna's 9 chains, not only Manna coins. On the feed, a call carries a Thesis badge and a call card underneath.

What's recorded when you post#

The moment you post a call, Manna saves a snapshot that never changes:

SnapshotSource
Call price and call market capManna's own price for Manna coins; DexScreener for other tokens.
Your bagHow many tokens your account held, across all its wallets, and what those tokens cost you.

Your bag is optional: you can call a coin you don't hold, and the card says Not holding. A buy made just before posting can take a few seconds to be logged; the card picks it up on its own shortly after.

The thesis card#

Under every call, a card shows the call against today:

PartWhat it shows
Coin lineThe coin, its price now, and +N% since call (or −N%).
ProfitYour profit or loss on the coin in percent, and in dollars below it.
PositionHeld while you still hold any, Sold once you're out. While held, its value now and token count.
Added / TrimmedShown next to Held when you hold more than 2% more tokens than at the call (Added) or more than 2% fewer (Trimmed).
Avg entry / Market capYour average entry market cap and the market cap now, or, if Manna can't work out your entry, the market cap now and "from $X" (the call market cap).
Call trackA bar with three dots: the market cap at your call, your average entry and the market cap now, on a log scale so a 10x still fits. Green when it's above the call, red when below.

The whole card tints green or red with the direction of the call.

How "since call" is measured#

text
since call = (price now ÷ call price − 1) × 100%

When either price is missing, Manna uses market caps instead: (market cap now ÷ call market cap − 1) × 100%. Price is preferred because a token's supply can change; market cap is the fallback.

Example. You call $ZUZU at a price of $0.00008 (an $80K market cap). It now trades at $0.00020. Since call = (0.00020 ÷ 0.00008 − 1) × 100% = +150%.

Live position#

Your Held / Sold state and profit are live, not a snapshot. For Manna coins they come from Manna's own positions across all your wallets. For other tokens, they come from your trades through Manna and your on-chain balance. A bag worth less than one cent counts as sold.

Privacy on calls#

If the writer chose Hide dollar amounts or a Private profile, everyone else sees percentages only: profit in percent, Held or Sold, and "size hidden" instead of the bag's value. A private writer also shows as an anonymous name. See Profiles and privacy.

Top callers#

Top callers ranks people by how their calls have done since they made them. It's on the Leaderboard and in the feed's side column.

The rules#

RuleDetail
Windows24h, 7d, 30d and All (the feed panel shows 24h and 7d). A call counts in a window if it was posted inside it.
Coin sizeOnly calls on coins with a market cap of $25K or more at the moment of the call count. A $3K coin doing 10x says little about the caller.
First call onlyOnly your first call per coin counts, ever. Posting about the same coin again adds nothing. If your first call on a coin was months ago, a new one this week doesn't bring it into the 7d window.
Minimum recordAt least 2 counted calls in the window to rank. One lucky call isn't a track record.
ScoreThe average since-call move of your counted calls, in percent.
Hit rateThe share of your counted calls that are up (above 0%) since the call.
TiesEqual averages go to whoever has more calls.
SizeThe top 50.
WhoYour calls from all your account's wallets count as one person. Private profiles never rank. Deleted and hidden posts don't count.
FreshnessRankings are recomputed at most once a minute, with live prices.

Each caller on the board shows their average move, hit rate, number of calls and their best call as a chip (tap it to open that post). You can share a caller's best call as an image with the share button.

Worked example#

Ana posted four calls in the last 7 days, all her first call on each coin:

CallMarket cap at callCounted?Since call
$ABC$40KYes+150%
$DEF$200KYes−25%
$GHI$1.2MYes+10%
$XYZ$15KNo, under $25K(ignored)
  • Counted calls: 3 (she has at least 2, so she ranks).
  • Score: (150 − 25 + 10) ÷ 3 = +45%.
  • Hit rate: 2 of 3 are up = 67%.
  • Best call: $ABC, +150%.

If Ben also averages +45% with 5 calls, Ben ranks above Ana because he has more calls.

Season points for theses#

Calls also earn Season points: 50 points per thesis, counting one per coin per day. Posting about the same coin five times in a day earns points once. Points are not a token and promise nothing.
