Copy trading
Copy another trader automatically. When they buy, you buy your own amount from your cash on any chain; when they sell, you sell the same share. How detection works, what gets skipped and why, limits and risks.
Copy trading follows a trader for you. When they buy a token, you buy it too, with the dollar amount you chose and your cash from any chain. When they sell, you can sell the same share of your bag. It runs on Manna's servers with your one-tap account, so it keeps working while Manna is closed, and it is shared with the Telegram bot. This page explains who you can copy, every setting, how trades are detected, the safety rules that skip risky trades, and the risks you take on.
Who you can copy#
- A Manna user (a person). Copying a Manna user copies the person, not one wallet: Manna watches all their wallets (their Solana and EVM wallets on the website and in the Telegram bot) and copies every trade those wallets make anywhere: on Manna, on a DEX, through an aggregator, a launchpad or another trading bot, on Solana and on every EVM chain Manna trades, Robinhood Chain included.
- Any wallet address. You can also copy an address that isn't a Manna user. A Solana address is watched on Solana; an EVM address is watched on every EVM chain Manna trades.
- A trader on FOMO. Pick one from the /fomo board (or copy the top 5 at once), or search them by wallet, FOMO @handle, .sol name or fomo.family profile link, and tap Copy. See Copy FOMO traders.
You can't copy yourself ("You can't copy yourself"), and your own wallets are never copied, even if you follow someone who shares one with you. A trade that is itself a copy is never copied again, so two people copying each other can't loop.
Start copying#
- 1Open the trader's profile and tap Copy trade, or go to /copy and tap Copy next to a name under TOP TRADERS TO COPY (switch the list between 24h, 7d and All). Any wallet has a profile page at
mannas.fun/u/<address>. - 2The Copy sheet opens. Set your options (below).
- 3Tap Start copying. You'll see "Copying X: $10 per buy · any size".
The button stays disabled until one-tap trading is on, because copy trades run with your one-tap account. The sheet shows the ⚡ Turn on one-tap trading strip if you need it.
To change settings later, tap Edit next to the trader under YOU'RE COPYING on /copy, or open the sheet again from their profile; the button then reads Update. Stop copying ends it.
Settings#
| Setting | Options | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Per buy | $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, or type any amount from $1 to $10,000 | $10 |
| Only coins with a market cap | Any size, Under $100K, Under $1M, $100K – $10M, Over $1M, Over $10M | Any size |
| Most per day | No limit, $100, $500, $1K, $5K | No limit |
| Sell when they sell | On or off | On |
- Per buy is what you spend on each copied buy, whatever size the trader bought. A whale buying $50,000 and a small trader buying $20 both trigger your $10.
- Market cap range skips buys of tokens outside it. If a token's market cap can't be read and you set a range, the buy is skipped too.
- Most per day caps the total spent on copied buys from this trader over the last 24 hours. It has to be at least one buy.
- Sell when they sell copies their sells proportionally (see below). Off means buys only.
How copied trades are detected#
- Manna checks for new trades about every 15 seconds. It reads the trader's wallets straight from the chain, plus Manna's own trade records.
- On EVM chains, Robinhood Chain and Base are read on every check; Ethereum, BNB Chain and Arbitrum on every second check; Polygon, Optimism and Avalanche on every third. A skipped check isn't a gap: the next one covers everything since.
- Only trades the trader's wallet signed and sent itself count. Airdrops, spam tokens and incoming transfers are never copied. Moving SOL in and out of liquid staking (jitoSOL, mSOL and similar) isn't treated as a trade.
- A buy is a token coming in while SOL, ETH, a wrapped native coin or a stablecoin goes out (or a token-for-token swap). A sell is a token going out while one of those comes back.
- Copying starts from now. When you start, Manna records where each wallet is and never copies past trades.
- Each source trade is copied at most once per follower, ever, even if two workers see it at the same moment.
When a trade is skipped#
Manna skips a copy rather than make a bad one. These rules apply to every follow:
| Rule | Applies to | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Honeypot | Buys | Tokens flagged as a honeypot (you can buy but not sell) are skipped |
| Thin liquidity | Buys | Tokens with less than $1,000 of liquidity are skipped: likely a trap, and your copy would move the price anyway. Manna coins are exempt |
| Market cap out of range | Buys | Outside your Only coins with a market cap choice |
| Too old | Buys and sells | A trade found more than 180 seconds after it happened, or a copy still waiting after that long, is dropped: the price has moved on |
| Too fast | Buys and sells | At most 6 copied trades a minute per follower, across everyone you copy; the rest are skipped |
| Daily limit | Buys | Your Most per day is used up |
| Not enough cash | Buys | Your total cash is below your per-buy amount |
| Small trims | Sells | If the trader sold less than 1% of their bag, it isn't copied |
| Small sells | Sells | If your share of the sell is worth less than $1, it's skipped (the fee would eat it) |
| Nothing held | Sells | You don't hold the token |
Skips for risk or limits send you a notice, at most once an hour per follow and reason, so a busy trader doesn't flood you. Market-cap-range skips are silent.
How copied sells work#
Sells are proportional. Manna works out what share of their bag the trader sold and sells the same share of yours.
- They sell 50% of their bag: you sell 50% of yours.
- They sell 98% or more, or Manna can't tell the share: you sell 100%.
- They trim under 1%: nothing happens.
Example: you copy a trader with $20 per buy. They buy a token; you buy $20 of it. It doubles, so your bag is worth $40. They sell half; you sell half of yours, about $20. Later they sell the rest; you sell the rest of yours.
If you bought the token before you started copying, or more than the copy bought, a copied sell still sells that share of everything you hold.
Notifications#
Every copy sends you a notification in the app, and a Telegram message if your account is linked to the bot, with links to your transaction and theirs. For example: "Copied X: bought PEPE · $10 of PEPE at $4.2M MC · Solana". Problems are reported too: "Couldn't copy X: not enough cash", "Copy trading slowed down", "Daily copy limit reached", or "Skipped X's buy of Y: liquidity under $1,000".
Fees and money#
- Each copied trade is a normal trade: the 1% Manna fee applies and you earn cashback on it as usual.
- Buys are paid from your universal cash. If the money is on another chain, Manna moves it first, which takes extra seconds.
- Copied trades use your saved slippage default, or each venue's automatic slippage.
Risks#
- You buy after them. Detection takes seconds to tens of seconds, and the cross-chain step can add more. On fast coins you pay a higher price than they did, and when they sell, you may sell lower.
- Their size isn't yours. A trader can buy with a tiny test amount that you copy at your full size.
- Fees add up. Every copy pays the trading fee and network fees. A trader who makes many small trades can cost you more in fees than they make.
- Skips change your results. Skipped buys (risk rules, limits, cash) and skipped sells mean your bag won't match theirs.
- Traders can game followers. Someone can buy a coin knowing followers will pile in after, then sell into them.
Start small, set a daily limit, use a market cap range, and review your copies often. See Risks.
Copy FOMO traders#
FOMO is a separate social trading app. Its users' trades are ordinary trades on chain, so Manna can find them, rank them and copy them like any wallet's. Manna isn't affiliated with FOMO.
Find a trader on FOMO#
- Open /fomo: search, the Top traders on FOMO board (every FOMO wallet Manna has found and ranked, a page at a time) and Live on FOMO, the newest FOMO trades as they happen. The top of the page says how many FOMO wallets Manna has found so far. The same board is the On FOMO tab of the Leaderboard, the Traders on FOMO section of /copy, and the On FOMO tab of the Feed.
- Search from anywhere (the search bar, or Ctrl/Cmd+K): a wallet, a FOMO @handle, a public name like
name.sol, or a fomo.family profile link.- Paste a wallet and its page opens at once: Manna reads its trades straight from the chain, whether or not Manna has seen it before.
- Paste a fomo.family link of someone Manna doesn't know yet and Manna asks you for the wallet shown on that profile. Manna can't open FOMO's pages (FOMO doesn't let other apps read them), so it can't look the wallet up for you: open the profile, copy the Solana wallet address shown there and paste it in. That also links the name for everyone (see below).
- Each trader has a page at
mannas.fun/fomo/@<handle>ormannas.fun/fomo/<wallet>: PnL (realized and unrealized), win rate, volume, their numbers for 24h, 7d and 30d, consistency and average hold, Their open positions with what each cost them, its PnL and a Buy button, every recent trade, and their top trades. If the wallet is also a Manna user, their Manna profile links to it.
The board#
| Rank by | What it means |
|---|---|
| PnL | Realized plus unrealized profit in the period |
| Consistent | Repeatable results, 0 to 100: win rate over many closed trades, with profit spread across tokens. One lucky trade can't top it |
| Win rate | Share of tokens they sold at a profit. Needs at least 3 closed trades |
| Volume | Dollars bought and sold |
| Recent | Who traded last |
Pick 24h, 7d or 30d, and narrow it with 5+ trades, $1K+ volume, Active today (traded in the last 24 hours) and Full history (only traders whose whole recent history Manna has read). Each row shows PnL, win rate, trades, average hold and their best token. Partial means Manna has ranked them on the trades it has sampled so far; their full history is read soon after they're found, and copied or watched traders first.
Names#
Manna shows a name instead of a bare address wherever it can, and says where it came from:
| Name | Where it comes from | Tag |
|---|---|---|
| @handle from FOMO | An official FOMO data feed, only if FOMO ever grants Manna one | none |
| @handle added | Linked by a Manna user (below). Not confirmed by FOMO | added |
| @xhandle | The X account the wallet's owner linked on their own Manna profile | X |
| Manna name | The wallet owner's Manna profile name | Manna |
| name.sol | The wallet's primary .sol domain (SNS), set by the wallet itself on chain, still owned by it | .sol |
| name.abc, name.bonk ... | The wallet's AllDomains main domain, set on chain, still owned and not expired | domain |
A private Manna profile's name is never shown. Manna never guesses a FOMO handle and never shows a user-added handle as FOMO's own.
Know a trader's FOMO name? On their page, tap Know this trader's FOMO name? Add it and type the handle from their FOMO profile (only if that profile shows this wallet). Or search the handle and paste the wallet when asked. Manna checks the wallet trades on FOMO before it accepts the link, and a handle or a wallet can only be linked once.
How Manna finds every FOMO trader#
Manna never reads the FOMO app or website: its terms don't allow collecting data from it. Everything comes from the public Solana chain:
- Every trade made in FOMO on Solana is signed and paid for by one FOMO wallet, with the user's own wallet signing too. So a wallet "trades on FOMO" when Manna sees such trades from it, which anyone can check on a block explorer.
- As it happens: Manna reads FOMO's new trades every minute. When Manna runs a Helius webhook on FOMO's wallet, every FOMO trade reaches Manna within seconds, so every active trader is found; otherwise each minute reads an even sample of them.
- The last 30 days: a backfill walks the past month an hour at a time, jumping around the month so it covers all of it early, and each pass reads a new moment of every hour. FOMO makes hundreds of thousands of trades a day, so this samples them; active traders trade often and are found quickly. Manna estimates how many FOMO wallets there are in all from how often it sees each one.
- Each trader's own history: once a wallet is found, Manna reads its own last 30 days from the chain, so its stats cover all its trades, not just the sampled ones.
- Stats are Manna's own, worked out from the trades Manna has read (the page says from when): average cost per token, profit on sells (realized), and today's value of what's still held minus its cost (unrealized). A sell of tokens bought before that is counted as volume, not profit. On the board, unrealized profit counts only once Manna has read the trader's own history: from sampled trades alone it can't tell whether they sold since. The board is re-ranked every 10 minutes. Numbers can differ from what FOMO shows.
Copying them#
Tap Copy on the board, in search or on their page. It's the same copy trading as everyone else: your amount, market-cap range, daily limit and Sell when they sell, and the same safety rules. When the handle is linked, the follow is named "@handle on FOMO", and every wallet linked to it is watched. Their FOMO trades are detected straight from the chain within seconds, and your notifications say Solana · FOMO.
- Copy the top 5 at once. Above the board, tap Copy the top 5 at once, set a dollar amount per buy for each (untick anyone you don't want) and tap Copy. Each becomes its own follow (sells copied, any market cap) that you can change or stop on its own later. Fees for each copied trade come out of your USDC, like any trade.
- Alert me. On a trader's page, tap Alert me to get a notification (and a Telegram message, if your account is linked to the bot) when they make a fresh FOMO buy, with a link to buy it on Manna. It doesn't copy anything. Up to 50 traders.
In the Telegram bot, send /fomo top (or /fomo 24h, /fomo 30d) for the board with a 📋 button per trader that goes straight to the amount, with ‹ Prev and Next ›. Or send /copy @handle, /copy fomo.family/profile/<handle> or /copy <wallet>.
