Trading in the Telegram bot

Paste any token on 9 chains, read the token card line by line, buy and sell in one tap with your universal cash, and track every position and its PnL in the Manna Telegram bot.

Updated November 3, 2026

Trading in the Manna bot takes two steps: paste a token (or type its $TICKER), tap a buy button. There is no chain switching and no bridging by hand, and no confirmation screen unless you want one. Your cash on any chain pays for a buy on any other chain, and the bot reports each trade from the first tap to the final receipt in one message. This page explains the token card line by line, every buy and sell button, what can go wrong and how to read your positions.

Open a token#

In short: paste the address or link, or type $TICKER. The card appears in a second or two.

Paste or type any of these into your private chat with the bot (or after /buy, like /buy $WIF):

  • a contract address on Solana, Robinhood Chain, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon or Avalanche;
  • a DexScreener link (DexScreener links point at a pool, so the bot asks DexScreener which token it is);
  • a pump.fun, Birdeye, GMGN or Manna link with the token address in it;
  • a ticker: $WIF, or the ticker in capitals (WIF). With /buy lowercase works too (/buy wif).

The bot replies "πŸ”Ž Looking up that token…" right away, then replaces that message with the token card once prices, your balance and the market data are in. While it builds the card, it already looks up the best buy route for your first buy button, so the tap that follows goes straight to the right venue.

What you seeWhat it means
The token cardFound. Trade away.
"⏳ That token is slow to load right now. Paste it again in a few seconds."The markets took more than 30 seconds to answer. Paste it again.
"I couldn't find a market for that token on any chain I trade."No pool was found on any of the 9 chains, and it isn't a Manna coin.

An EVM address can exist on several chains. The bot picks the chain where the token has the deepest pool.

Typing a ticker#

Many tokens share a ticker, so the bot looks them up on all 9 chains (pools under $1,000 of liquidity are ignored as copycats) and:

  • opens the card straight away when one token is clearly the one (the only match, or at least 5 times deeper than the next, or the only one on your 🌐 Ticker chain);
  • otherwise shows a short pick list: each match with its chain, market cap and liquidity, one tap to open.

πŸ’Ή Buy & Sell on Home (or /buy on its own) explains the above and lists the last 6 tokens you traded, one tap to reopen each, with shortcuts to πŸ“Š Positions, ⭐ Watchlist and 🐦 New coins.

The token card, line by line#

Each card is built to be read in two seconds: identity first, then the market, then your position, then links. Lines only appear when there is data for them.

Risk flags#

The card shows these flags when market data reports them. Treat each one as a reason to slow down.

FlagMeaning
🚫 HoneypotMarket data flags the token as a honeypot: you may be able to buy but not sell.
⚠️ Mint authority onSomeone can still create new tokens, diluting every holder.
⚠️ Freeze authority onSomeone can freeze token accounts, which can stop you from selling.
⚠️ Dev holds N%The developer wallet holds 10% or more of the supply.

The bot doesn't flag a top-heavy supply on its own, because on a bonding curve the curve itself is the biggest holder. Read the πŸ‘₯ top 10 line instead. No flag does not mean safe. See Risks.

Buy#

The top rows of the card are buy buttons, always above the sell buttons so a thumb never sells by habit.

ButtonWhat it does
Buy $10 Β· Buy $25 Β· Buy $50 Β· Buy $100 Β· Buy $250Buys that many dollars of the token, at once. These are the defaults; change them in βš™οΈ Settings.
Buy X ✏️Asks how much. Send dollars (40, $40) or a coin amount (0.3 sol, 0.01 eth). Anything from $0.50 to $100,000.

By default a tap is a trade: memecoins move in seconds. Two settings change that:

SettingWhat it does
βœ… Confirm tradesEvery preset buy and sell asks once, on the card itself: its buttons become βœ… Buy $25 Β· βœ• Cancel. Tap the card's ⚑ 1-tap button to turn it on (it then reads βœ… Confirm on), or use βš™οΈ Settings. A typed amount (Buy X ✏️) is already deliberate, so it doesn't ask again.
⚑ Auto-buy on pastePasting a token buys a set amount at once, no tap needed. It never auto-buys a token you already hold or one flagged as a honeypot, and a thin pool still gets the price impact check below. Set it in βš™οΈ Settings β†’ ⚑ Auto-buy.

The price impact check below always applies.

The price impact check#

Before a buy goes out, the bot estimates how much your buy moves the price, from the pool's liquidity (using the constant-product formula, with half the liquidity on each side of the pool). If the estimate is 10% or more, the bot stops and asks first:

text
⚠️ High price impact
Buying $250 of $ZUZU moves its price about 11% against you (the pool is thin).
Buy a smaller amount, or go ahead anyway.
[Buy anyway Β· 11% impact]
[βœ• Cancel] [πŸ’Ή $ZUZU]

Worked example. A pool holds $4,000 of liquidity, so about $2,000 sits on each side. A $250 buy moves the price by about 250 Γ· (2,000 + 250) = 11.1%. That is over 10%, so the bot asks. A $50 buy would move it about 2.4% and goes straight through.

Double taps#

Tapping the same buy button on the same token twice within 4 seconds only buys once. The second tap is ignored. Different buttons are different trades: tapping Buy $10 and then Buy $25 buys both, side by side.

Sell#

Sell buttons appear once you hold the token.

ButtonWhat it does
Sell 25% Β· Sell 50% Β· Sell allSells that share of your bag. These are the defaults; change them in βš™οΈ Settings (a 100% button is labeled Sell all).
Sell initialsSells just enough to take back what you put in (what you bought, less what you already sold), so the rest of the bag rides for free.
Sell X% ✏️Asks what percent to sell. Any number above 0 up to 100.

Sell initials example. You bought $100 of a token and haven't sold any. Your bag is now worth $400. Sell initials sells 25% of the bag ($100) and you keep $300 worth. If the bag is worth less than you put in, the bot tells you so and suggests selling 100% instead.

Sells always pay out in the chain's native coin (SOL, ETH, BNB, POL or AVAX), which is part of your cash right away.

From tap to receipt#

Every trade reports into one message that updates as it goes, so your chat stays clean:

  1. 1⏳ Buying $25.00 (0.142 SOL) of $ZUZU Β· Routing on Solana… The trade has started. A toast on the button confirms the tap at once ("Buying $25…").
  2. 2πŸ“€ Sent Β· buying $25.00 (0.142 SOL) of $ZUZU Β· Waiting for Solana to confirm… with a Track β†— link. The transaction is on-chain and waiting for confirmation.
  3. 3βœ… Bought $ZUZU ⚑ 2.4s and the receipt, or ❌ Buy didn't go through with a plain-language reason.

The token card you tapped stays up and refreshes to show your new position once the trade lands.

The buy receipt#

Impact with a ~ in front is an estimate from the pool's depth rather than the venue's own figure. The Fee line appears when Manna's plain 1% applies; graduated Manna coins pay Manna through their pool's own fee instead, so there is no separate line.

Buttons after a buy#

RowButtons

After a sell, the receipt shows what you sold, what you got, your profit or loss on the part you sold, and what's left. If some is left, you get Sell 50% more and Sell the rest, then πŸ”₯ Share PnL, ↻ $TICKER and πŸ“Š Positions.

When a trade fails#

A failed trade shows ❌ and a short reason (for example, the price moved past your slippage, or there wasn't enough cash). Nothing went through, so a ↻ Retry button repeats the same trade in the same message, at once. A retried buy that already passed the price impact warning doesn't ask again.

"It may still go through"#

The bot waits up to 90 seconds for a trade. If the chain hasn't confirmed it by then, you see:

⏳ Your buy of $ZUZU hasn't confirmed yet. It may still go through, so check your balance in a minute before trying again.

This message deliberately has no Retry button, because the first trade may still land and a retry could buy twice. Use ↻ $TICKER or πŸ“Š Positions after a minute to see whether it did.

Universal cash: buying on any chain#

Your cash is every native coin and stablecoin in both of your wallets, on all 9 chains, in dollars. You never have to move money to the right chain first.

When you buy a token on a chain where you don't have enough of the native coin:

  1. 1The bot works out what's missing, plus a small gas reserve so the wallet can pay network fees (0.003 SOL on Solana, 0.0006 ETH on Ethereum, a much smaller amount on the other chains).
  2. 2It picks one balance on another chain that can cover it and routes it across through Relay, with a little headroom for route fees.
  3. 3When the money arrives, it buys.

This takes longer than a same-chain buy (usually seconds, sometimes longer). Manna charges no bridge fee on these automatic moves; only the route's own network and relayer costs apply.

Your cash (one balance)SOL on SolanaETH on BaseUSDC on ArbitrumETH on RobinhoodPick a sourcetoken's chain first, else biggestSame chain: buy directlyno bridge neededOther chain: Relay, then buyno Manna bridge fee inside a trade

Things to know:

  • The money for one buy comes from one balance. If your cash is spread thin across many chains, you may see "Your cash is spread thin: the biggest balance is $X. Try a smaller amount."
  • If you don't have enough cash in total, you see "Not enough cash: you have $X. Deposit first."
  • "Your cash is still arriving on this chain, try again in a few seconds" means the cross-chain move is still landing. Wait a moment and tap again.
  • To sell on an EVM chain, the wallet needs gas there. If it has less than $0.15 worth ($3 on Ethereum), the bot tops it up first: with a few cents of gas paid back from the USDC on that chain, or from your cash.
  • You don't need a gas coin. If you hold only USDC (on Solana, or on an EVM chain), the network fee comes out of your USDC. Where a route can run gasless it does (USDC leaving an EVM chain moves with a signed permit and no gas); otherwise Manna's keeper fronts the fee and it's charged back from your USDC, plus a few cents. On Solana a little of your USDC also becomes SOL for your next fees, in the same step as the buy. Manna never pays your gas for free. The receipt then shows "β›½ No gas coin needed Β· network fee $0.02 from your USDC". You need at least $2 of USDC on Solana ($5 on an EVM chain when the money stays there). See No gas coin needed.
  • If the fee can't come out of your USDC (too little of it, or a daily limit reached) you see "Your wallet has no SOL for the network fee on Solana, and it couldn't come out of your USDC this time (reason). Deposit USDC or SOL, either works."

Slippage#

Slippage is the worst price you accept compared to the quote. The card's ↕ Slip button shows your setting. Tap it and the card's buttons turn into the choices, Auto Β· 1% Β· 3% Β· 5% Β· 10% Β· 20%: tap one and the card comes back with it set (← Back leaves it as it was). The same setting lives in βš™οΈ Settings β†’ ↕ Slippage and is shared with mannas.fun.

On Auto, each route uses its own safe default:

RouteAuto slippage
Bonding curves (Manna curves, pump.fun and other launchpad curves)5%
Manna coins on Solana that have graduated or use a non-SOL pair5%
Manna coins on the newer EVM launch chains (curve or their own pool)5%
Solana DEXs and routers (Jupiter, Raydium, PumpSwap, Meteora)3%
Other swaps on Robinhood Chain3%
Any other token on Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon and Avalanche (aggregator route)1.5%

On Solana, a trade that fails on-chain because the price moved is routed again and sent once more automatically, before the bot reports a failure. See Slippage and price impact.

Positions and PnL cards#

  • Each token shows its value and profit or loss (dollars in vs value now plus anything already sold).
  • 8 tokens per page, biggest first, with β€Ή Prev Β· 1 / 2 Β· Next β€Ί to page through. Balances under one cent are counted but not listed. A brand-new coin with no price yet still shows, as "no price yet".

PnL cards#

  • πŸ”₯ PnL on a token card (or πŸ”₯ Share PnL under a receipt) sends you an image of that position, with its chart and profit in dollars, plus a πŸ“€ Share button. The share link opens the token in the bot with your invite code, so friends who join through it count as your invites.
  • πŸ”₯ My PnL card on the Positions screen sends a card of your whole portfolio and its all-time PnL.
