Risks you should understand

A plain-language guide to what can go wrong when you trade or launch on Manna, and what you can do about each risk.

Updated November 3, 2026

Manna gives you powerful tools, and with them real risk. This page explains the main risks in plain words. The legally binding version is the Risk Disclosure. Nothing on Manna is financial advice.

Market risk#

  • Prices move violently. New coins can rise or fall 90% in minutes. A chart, a call or a leaderboard tells you what happened, not what will happen.
  • Coins have no underlying value. A memecoin is worth only what the next buyer pays.
  • Liquidity can be thin. Selling a large position in a small pool moves the price against you. Manna warns you above 3% price impact and asks you to confirm above 10%. See Slippage and price impact.
  • Slippage. The price can move between your tap and the moment your trade lands. Your slippage setting limits how far; a trade that would fill worse fails instead (and costs only the network fee).

Coin and creator risk#

Anyone can launch a coin on Manna. A creator can:

  • set a creator fee up to 10% on every trade (shown on the coin page);
  • keep most of that fee for themselves;
  • buy a large amount at launch (the "dev buy") and sell it later, unless it is locked;
  • list up to 32 team wallets on EVM chains that skip the sniper shield and are marked with a public "Team" badge;
  • add trading rules that limit when and how much you can buy, sell or transfer;
  • abandon the coin.

Rules can stop you from selling. A coin can enforce a max sell size, vesting (your tokens unlock bit by bit), stock-market hours (no trading outside Monday to Friday 9:30am-4pm New York), an allowlist, or a DEX-only rule (no wallet-to-wallet sends). Read the coin's rules before you buy. They can never be changed after launch.

Coins with rules are harder to trade elsewhere. Solana coins with rules use Token-2022 with Manna's rules program; Jupiter and most Solana bots don't support them yet.

Impersonation. Anyone can copy a coin's name and picture. Always check the contract address.

Automation risk#

  • Orders are best effort. Take profit, stop loss, limit, trailing and DCA orders fire at market when Manna sees the trigger. In a fast move they can fill well past your trigger, or fail after 3 attempts. See Orders.
  • Copy trading copies losses too. It follows another trader's buys and sells about every 15 seconds, at whatever price you get then, which can be worse than theirs. See Copy trading.
  • Holder payouts are not guaranteed. Harvest Drops, the Comeback Fund, jackpots and Spread depend on a coin's trading volume and settings. Nothing moves until it's worth at least $1, and amounts can be tiny.

Technology risk#

  • Smart contracts can have bugs. Manna's contracts and Solana program have been tested and reviewed internally, are not deployed yet and have not been externally audited. Manna also relies on third-party protocols (Meteora, pump.fun, Jupiter, Raydium, Uniswap, KyberSwap, Relay).
  • Blockchains get congested. Transactions can be slow, fail or expire, especially on Solana at busy times. A failed transaction still costs its network fee.
  • Bridges can be delayed. Moving money between chains can take longer than quoted. Relay refunds a route it can't complete, but you may wait.
  • Data can be wrong or late. Prices, market caps, holder counts and PnL come from blockchains and data providers and may be delayed or inaccurate.
  • Outages. Manna, Privy or another provider can go down. Your funds stay in your wallets, and you can always export your key.

Custody risk#

With one-tap trading on, Manna's servers can sign transactions for your wallets. If you lose access to your sign-in account (for example your email), you may lose access to your Manna wallets: export your key and keep it safe. Never share it. See Security and custody.

Pair assets#

You can launch or trade coins paired with tokenized stocks (such as TSLAx on Solana or TSLA on Robinhood Chain) and pre-IPO tokens. These are tokens issued by third parties that track a price; they are not the shares themselves and depend on their issuers. Stablecoins (USDC, USDG) can lose their peg.

Rewards, points and $MANNA#

Cashback rates, referral rates, holder payouts and Season 1 points are promotional and can change. Points are not a token and are not a promise of anything. $MANNA does not exist yet and may never launch. Anyone selling $MANNA today is a scammer.

Crypto rules differ by country and change often. You are responsible for following the law where you live and for any taxes on your trades and rewards. Manna is not available to people in sanctioned countries.
