Price alerts and watchlist
Get pinged when a token hits a price, a market cap or a percentage move, once or every time. Star tokens to keep them in a watchlist that follows you across devices and into the Telegram bot.
Alerts and the watchlist let you follow tokens without staring at charts. A price alert pings you when a token crosses a price, a market cap or a percentage move you choose, in the app and on Telegram. The watchlist keeps the tokens you care about one tap away, with live prices, on every device and in the Telegram bot. Both work on any token on any chain Manna trades, not just Manna coins. Alerts only notify you; to trade automatically at a price, use orders.
What an alert can watch#
| Alert type | Watches | Directions |
|---|---|---|
| % move | The change from the price when you set it | Up, Down or Either |
| Price | The token's price in dollars | Above or Below |
| Market cap | The token's market cap in dollars | Above or Below |
Prices for Manna coins come from Manna's own numbers (they follow the pool the coin trades in, so even a brand-new coin has one). Every other token is priced from market data.
Set an alert#
- 1On any token page, tap the bell next to the star. The Price alert sheet opens with the token's current price and market cap.
- 2Tap a Quick alert, or build a Custom one (below). Each quick chip shows the price it fires at.
- 3Optionally turn on Repeat first; it applies to quick alerts and custom ones alike.
- 4You'll see "Alert set on $X", plus where the ping will go: "We'll ping you on Telegram and here." or "You'll see it in your notifications."
The bell turns lime with a dot while the token has a live alert. The sheet also lists the alerts already On $X, with a delete button.
Quick alerts#
| Chip | Fires when |
|---|---|
| +50% | Price is up 50% from now |
| 2x | Price is up 100% from now |
| 5x | Price is up 400% from now |
| -30% | Price is down 30% from now |
| -50% | Price is down 50% from now |
| ±20% | Price moves 20% either way |
Custom alerts#
- 1Under Custom, pick % move, Price or Market cap.
- 2Pick the direction: Up, Down or Either for a move; Above or Below for price and market cap.
- 3Type the target. You can write shorthand:
250k,1.5m,$0.002,2b. As you type, Manna previews it, for example "fires at $0.0031" or "+42.0% from now". - 4Turn on Repeat if you want it more than once.
- 5Tap Set alert.
One-time and repeating alerts#
A one-time alert fires once, then shows as done. With Repeat on:
- % move alerts ("Every time it moves that much again") measure the next move from the price where they last fired. A repeating +20% alert on a token at $1 fires around $1.20, then again about 20% above that (around $1.44), and so on. They also wait at least 5 minutes between pings.
- Price and market cap alerts ("Each time it crosses, at most every 5 min") fire when the number crosses your line, then wait until it goes back across by at least 1% before they can fire again. They never fire more than once every 5 minutes. A price hovering on your line can't ping you every few seconds.
Example: a repeating alert for price above $0.010. The price hits $0.0102: it fires. It then has to drop below $0.0099 (1% under your line) to re-arm, and the next cross above $0.010 can only fire once 5 minutes have passed since the last ping.
How alerts are checked and delivered#
- Manna checks every live alert about every 10 seconds, around the clock, with the app closed.
- When one fires, you always get an in-app notification (the bell in the header). It reads like "$PEPE is up 52%", "$PEPE market cap is above $10.00M" or "$PEPE is below $0.004", followed by the current price and market cap, and "alert done" for one-time alerts.
- If your account uses the Telegram bot, you also get a Telegram message with buttons to open the token in the bot or on Manna. If it doesn't, the sheet suggests: "Get alerts on your phone: sign in to Manna with Telegram or open the Manna bot."
- Alerts set in the bot (with the 🔔 button or
/alerts) and on the website are the same list.
Manage your alerts#
Open your profile and go to the Alerts tab. The top line shows how many are live ("3 live of 50") and where pings go. For each alert you can:
- Toggle Repeat (the arrows button: "Repeats" or "One-shot").
- Pause or resume it with the switch. Resuming a % move alert measures the move from today's price, not the old one.
- Delete it.
Each row also shows its history: "fired 2× · last 3h ago", "set 1d ago", "fired 5m ago · done" or "paused".
Limits and validation#
You can have up to 50 live alerts at a time; paused alerts don't count. You can create up to 30 alerts in five minutes. Manna refuses alerts that don't make sense:
| Message | Why |
|---|---|
| "It's already above that (now $X)" / "It's already below that (now $X)" | The alert would fire on the next check |
| "A drop can be at most 99%" | A Down move of 100% or more can't happen |
| "That move is too big" | Moves above 100,000% |
| "Enter a number above zero" | Empty, zero or negative target |
| "This token has no live price yet" / "...no live market cap yet" | Manna can't price the token right now |
| "You can have 50 alerts at a time. Delete one first." | You're at the limit |
| "Too many alerts at once, try again in a few minutes" | More than 30 created in five minutes |
Watchlist#
Star any token to add it to your watchlist. The star sits next to the bell on every token page.
- Where it shows: the ★ Watchlist feed on Discover, and the Watchlist tab on your profile, with each token's price, market cap, 24h change, a bell for alerts and the star to remove it.
- How many: up to 200 tokens. Past that, the newest 200 are kept.
- Synced with your account: signed in, your stars are saved to your account, so they're the same on every device and in the Telegram bot (
/watchlist). - Signed out: stars are kept in this browser only. The first time you sign in on that device, they're added to your account, so nothing is lost.
- Instant: a star paints immediately; the list refreshes about every 30 seconds.
